In August '25, WP Lead Kjell Magnus was interviewed by NRK. He spoke about the challenges facing Norway's kelp forests, where ~5,000 square kilometers of kelp forests have already disappeared. He also highlighted Noway's plans to restore kelp forests including a recent status report that involved several members of the GEcoKelp team, and the Green Gravel approach that was developed in Flødevigen.
